Hammer has designed and built, not one, but two content management systems (CMS). Our own proprietory back office systems and website management software which allow you to add, edit and manage all your website content yourself.
Website content mangement systems:
Hammer Design were ahead of the game with content management systems and designed a modular system many years ago.
This means that our current software is solid, reliable and works. There aren't many things that even the most demanding website will need that we haven't thought of before - now there's a challenge for you!
Our two systems are:
Bespoke solutions: ChameleonCMS, a content management system that can do everything ( a big claim for a big system ) - putting you absolutely in control.
Off the shelf solutions: OspreyCMS, hammer design's own brand fully developed off the shelf system for the smaller business and start up.

Maintenance and support:
We offer a number of packages for ongoing website maintenance and support, although our experience is that you wont need much help after a few hours inital training on one of our CMS systems.
Debugging, service and support
Our philosophy is simple - We aim to do things thoroughly and correctly from the outset - we are about excellence.
If we have built your website correctly, it will be browser compliant across most recent browsers (the specific browsers are detailed in our proposal document) and as the code has been written by the book it should work pretty well from the start. That said, website development is an evolution and if there weren't bugs and minor issues we would be surprised.
We always run a test phase, for any teething issues, but after launch we operate a straightforward prioritised task system should you need it.
Service Support Packages
For ongoing services, to cover any training for new employees unfamiliar with your website management system, to deal with any ongoing bugs which may occur for example as new web browsers launch, and to keep your website software upto date with the latest software revisions, we offer:
Eagle SLA (Gold),
Lynx SLA (Silver) and
Armadillo SLA (Bronze)
Service Level Agreements which detail an arrangement between ourselves, covering response times, enquiries, bug fix time, minor and major revisions.
They are tailored to any contingencies your project may require.
