project planning
We choose to look at your work using the following four broad categories as the four stages of delivery for a complete website service:
Planning
Website design and development work
Website ongoing management
Website promotion and marketing
These are basically just a modern take on the segments of the project cycle:
Identification -> Preparation -> Appraisal -> Presentation -> Implementation -> Monitoring -> Evaluation.
Our approach and methodology to planning and delivering your project:
In all projects that we are commissioned to produce, it is our aim wherever possible to:
• become an extension of our client’s business
• to work in partnership with our clients
• to set, agree and clearly document our client’s expectations
• to agree and clearly document the requirements of the project
• to agree and document the anticipated outcomes of the project
• to agree and clearly document a project plan for the duration of the work
• to agree a budget
• to agree all components for delivery
• to set a realistic and achievable date for delivery
From experience we have found that when the above is agreed at the onset of the project or business relationship, expectations are more likely to be met as all parties are made aware of, and agree, what the deliverables are throughout the life-cycle of the project, when they are to be delivered and the likely impact of non-conformation.
This outline approach will be used to deliver both the design and website elements of the project. In addition and following a project kick-off meeting, we will document all of the agreed functionality of the website, the look and feel, and define the areas of the website where you will require content management. A project plan will be drawn up to highlight the project stages and confirm delivery / launch dates.
