The Big Picture of Natural Britain - 19/09/06
The World’s first online portrait of your natural heritage.
We want your help to bring the country’s attention to just how wonderful the British Landscape really is. We intend to create a public work of art made up entirely of natural images of the country. And that's where you come in.
We are looking for members to upload images onto our site, and we will then select your best picture and drop it into the relevant area of an absolutely huge aerial map of the country.
Once completed, the giant image will then go on display at a prominent UK landmark or building. (There may be several images throughout the UK).
It is hoped that this art installation and event will bring to the public's attention to how near, how accessible and how important and beneficial for everyone our countryside, national parks and natural heritage are.
