The Client

Shape is a family-run business founded in 1967 and were 20 years ago one of the first companies in the UK to develop the idea of posture seating by introducing the then revolutionary ‘kneeling chairs’ from Stokke in Norway, to the north of England. The company’s focus on ergonomics has become the foundation of their business today and is reflected in the client’s commitment to building customer relationships and providing a personal service.

The Brief

a) To design and build a stylish website that is fast, easy to use, update and maintain. To develop and build an e-commerce back end that allows multiple product options, prices, associations and is still easy to use.
b) Shape Seating want to carry their cool contemporary design led image from their modern office premises and brochure pages to their all new website.
c) To carry over successful page rankings, retain hard coded meta information and all the hard SEO work undertaken on the previous website.
d) Multiple functional requirements - Quick one-click quotations for ease of trade customer use; private guest log in section; multiple tabbed page associations provides extensive 'on one page' information and feedback.
