A very HIP selector
Objective:
A new product launch - to create a Home Information Pack comparison website with 2 primary functions:
1. To enable users to compare prices and contrast the product from HIP providers from across the UK, or specifically in their area, to decide which best fits their requirements.
2. To create a services list for local businesses to advertise on the HIP website.
Brief:
To develop a creative marketing strategy including a brand, a website and suite of literature:
1. To create an identity for HIPSelector.co.uk .
2. Design, host and develop a website, fully supported by a Content Management System.
3. Design and print business stationery.
4. Design and print brochure.
In addition to the website a corporate ID, and promotional material were needed to both recruit advertisers and promote the HIP Selector service. The website and brochure will provide the tools to sell advertising to business services.
Solution:
We created a new identity to work across all media – online and offline – reflecting the modern, vibrant business proposition from HIP Selector.
A clever, slick website gives the user a rich experience and includes multiple functionality and state- of-the-art features as you would expect of a nationally significant website including:
• A thorough search facility allowing the user to find a HIP pack based on multiple criteria, (minimum of 13) quickly and easily including:
- Price
- Location
- Business Type (Solicitor / Estate Agents / HIP Provider)
- Deferred Payment
- Additional Area Information
- Additional Property Information
- Freehold / Leasehold Property
- Registered / Unregistered Property
• Content Management System – the website is integrated with chameleon, one of our own easy to administer modular systems. Chameleon allows for multiple secure, password protected access. Ultimately, all the HIP providers – solicitors and professional bodies – can log in online, independently and securely, through a simple back-end interface adding, tracking and invoicing their products. Additionally, a public facility enables advertisers / local businesses to add, edit and manage their own trade advertisements.
This visual pleasing and intuitive website is, as with all well designed products, far more complicated behind the scenes (as per a proverbial iceberg) than anyone could imagine.
Project Management:
The project was managed in-house, working closely with the client, to ensure timescales were adhered to and the project delivered to budget.
Marketing:
Many large providers and advertisers are already onboard and we await the project’s final public release and marketing campaign.
Timescales:
The project took 6 months to complete from concept to launch.
