This is a team based role and you will operate as the web developer in a small team of talented professionals, a key part of delivering high quality websites to a multitude of clients.
Job Description
A full time job: Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Hammer Design are an innovative creative digital design agency. They integrate design with technology and, throughout a range of media, deliver strategies that embrace the brand, communicate the message and promote the product.
We require an experienced developer with PHP programming skills to aid in the development and implementation of a suite of web-based products.
They must have a good knowledge of PHP and an understanding of AJAX, HTML and CSS. Experience working with Apache, MySQL and Linux would be an advantage.
They will be expected to research, plan, develop logic code, test and deploy several web projects with minimal assistance. You should know how to build a PHP web application from the ground up, as well as modify and build on existing code. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, growing company where you can gain a broad range of experience.
- You will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, staying abreast of emerging changes in the development world and ensuring that project work is delivered on time.
- This person will be an experienced, capable, responsible, thoughtful individual with a minimum of 2 years commercial experience.
- This person will be a well organised, open minded individual who will be receptive to changing practices. This person will be neat, thorough and accurate with a variety of practical skills.
- To ensure that website development work is delivered via projects that are booked into the Hammer Design administration system.
- To ensure that deadlines are continuously adhered to and that work is executed in a timely, thoughtful and professional manner.
- To ensure that all website material written and published is to the highest standard, is accurate and is consistent with our ongoing quality delivery.
